At Winn-Dixie, we are committed to serving families throughout the five states in our marketing area. As food retailers, we are concerned about solid waste and preserving the environment for future generations.
We are working within our industry to promote environmentally safe packaging, waste reduction, recycling and resource recovery in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible, yet maintaining the high quality of products as they travel from the manufacturer to our customers' table. We encourage our customers, employees and suppliers to understand and practice appropriate recycling procedures, too.
Some efforts of our corporate program include recycling paper, plastics and other materials, with ongoing evaluation of procedures, costs and areas for improvement.
