Get Everything You Need To Celebrate Labor Day.

Labor Day traditionally marks the end of summer, so celebrate the change of season by initiating a neighborhood block party where everyone brings a covered dish. For a sweet take-along treat, search for delicious recipes in our recipe library. 

For a complete, no-fuss-get-it-all-quick picnic, stop by the deli and bakery. Pick up a batch of fried chicken, delicious potato salad, vegetables, rolls and one of our spectacular desserts, and be on your way. Stash everything you need - napkins, plates, eating utensils - in a laundry basket lined with a sheet or big beach towel. And presto - you have a portable picnic! Want to add a dash of flare? Pick a bunch of fresh flowers from our floral department. When you arrive at your picnic spot, place them in one of your empty bottles or containers!

To keep it really simple this holiday, serve a platter full of super sandwiches. Just load up on deli cold cuts and cheeses and grab some fresh breads and rolls from the bakery. Swing by our seafood department for a fresh seafood platter. Pick up plenty of Harvest Fresh fruit from our produce department.

Picnic reminder: If you plan on toting food, be sure to pack perishables in well-insulated containers. Keep coolers in a shaded area and tightly closed until serving time.
