Winn-Dixie Signature Recipe
Decadent Chocolate Strawberries
Recipe requires waxed paper
Preparation Time: 20 min.
Cooking Time: 5 min.
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 cup Candies, milk chocolate, chips
1/2 quart Strawberries, raw, with stems -- rinsed
1 1/2 teaspoon Shortening, vegetable
Preparation:
1. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in microwave.
2. Dip individual strawberries into chocolate, approximately 3/4 up to the stem.
3. Place on wax paper.
4. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
