Winn-Dixie Signature Recipe
Pumpkin Praline Pie

Serves: 8
Ingredients:
2 cup Pumpkin, cooked, without salt -- mashed
14 oz Milk, canned, condensed, sweetened
2 large Egg, whole, raw
1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg, ground
1/2 teaspoon Ginger, ground
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 crust Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, enriched -- unbaked, 9-inch
3 tablespoon Sugar, brown, dark
3 tablespoon Cream, light whipping
1 cup Pecans, halves -- for garnish
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Combine first 7 ingredients in mixing bowl; beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 1 minute.
3. Pour filling into pastry shell.
4. Bake at 375F for 50 minutes or until set. Cool.
5. Before serving, combine brown sugar and whipping cream in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Drizzle mixture over pie and garnish with pecan halves.
